LOTUS PRINT KAFTAN

This pretty navy and white lotus print kaftan, which features a drawstring at the waist,  is hand block-printed on soft 100% cotton material. The craft of block-printing has been passed down from generation to generation in the producer community. The wooden blocks are hand carved and the design is then hand stamped, the seamless printing showing the fine skill of the block printers. Each family of artisans has their own collection of wooden blocks, and the blocks are often passed down through generations.
